About Pamela K. Jones

Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney

Pamela K. Jones is a New Hampshire criminal defense attorney with more than 18 years of experience representing individuals facing criminal charges and navigating the justice system. Before establishing her private practice, Pamela spent her career with the New Hampshire Public Defender, where she represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters and served for five years as Managing Attorney of the Nashua office.

Throughout her career, Pamela has handled serious felony and misdemeanor cases, complex sentencing matters, probation violations, and post-conviction litigation. She has extensive experience working with forensic experts, developing mitigation evidence, and advocating for individualized outcomes that reflect her clients’ circumstances.

Pamela is particularly recognized for her work in Youth defense. She has represented young people facing serious criminal charges and has developed significant expertise in cases involving adolescent development and constitutional sentencing protections. Her work includes more than a decade of litigation on behalf of an individual sentenced to life without parole for an offense committed as a youth, ultimately securing the suspension of the remaining sentence and her client’s release.

In addition to representing individual clients, Pamela has played a significant role in Youth justice reform in New Hampshire. She has served on statewide reform initiatives focused on improving outcomes for young people, expanding diversion opportunities, and reducing unnecessary involvement in the court system. She has also worked collaboratively with judges, prosecutors, law enforcement, probation officers, and community organizations to improve justice system practices.

Pamela is a nationally recognized trainer and advocate in Youth defense. She has presented on adolescent brain development, constitutional sentencing, and effective advocacy for young people. She has served in leadership and advisory roles with the Gault Center, and has mentored and trained attorneys throughout her career.

Pamela founded Pamela K. Jones, Attorney at Law, PLLC to continue providing thoughtful, thorough, and individualized representation to clients throughout New Hampshire.
